The work of the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival and that of the Royalty, a Queen and two Princesses, goes well beyond the annual Spring Festival. Throughout the year the Royalty make over 100 public appearances and attend over 15 out-of-town festivals and parades throughout the Pacific Northwest and Canada. Our Queen and Princesses devote a year of their lives representing the Greater Wenatchee Valley and promoting the apple industry. This responsibility becomes a “full-time” job.

A scholarship program has been established to prevent these young women from choosing between representing their community, through the Apple Blossom Festival, or taking a summer job to earn money for their continuing education.

Scholarship Contributions to the Apple Blossom Festival Community Foundation are tax-deductible as a charitable contribution, for both business and personal expenses.
