2024 JUNIOR ROYALTY
Some of the activities the Junior Royalty will take part in with the 2024 Royalty include riding in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, an etiquette session at Bob’s Classic, touring Stemilt, TekniPlex, and Rocky Reach Dam, ride on the Princess Float for the TekniPlex Youth Parade on April 27 and attend a few parades over the summer!
QUEEN RUBY JOHNSON
Queen Ruby is the daughter of is the daughter of Kyle and Andrea Johnson. Ruby is a 5th grader in Mrs. Thibault’s class at The River Academy. She has one sister, Ella (age 17), and one brother, Noah (age 15).
Ruby loves playing volleyball, soccer, and downhill skiing. She just began serving in her church's kindergarten class, and in her spare time, she loves baking, sewing, and crafting with her Grammy! Her favorite TV show is Bluey, and her favorite song is “Paper Rings” by Taylor Swift. Her favorite movie is The Chosen and her favorite books are The Wings of Fire series by Tui T. Sutherland. When Ruby grows up, she wants to be a Nurse or a Teacher.
Ruby’s favorite things to do in the Wenatchee Valley are skiing at Mission Ridge, playing claw machines with her dad, and window shopping downtown on the Ave!
PRINCESS MCKENZIE PRATER
Princess McKenzie is the daughter of Adam and Dawn Prater. McKenzie is a 5th grader in Mrs. Johnson’s class at Kenroy Elementary. She has one sister, Madilyn (age 13), and one brother, Grayson (age 9).
McKenzie enjoys playing on her Wenatchee FC soccer team, being a Kenroy Leader and Kenroy Newspaper Journalist. She loves reading, drawing, singing and dancing! Her favorite TV show is Surviving Summer, and her favorite song is “Things a Man Oughta know” by Lainey Wilson and “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys. Her favorite book are Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne. When McKenzie grows up, she wants to be a Veterinarian .
McKenzie’s favorite things to do in the Wenatchee Valley are to be outside in the sunshine, paddle boarding, swimming, having play dates with friends, and hanging out with her family!
PRINCESS ELLA GRASS
Princess Ella is the daughter of daughter of Kasey Grass and Kevin Grass. Ella is a 5th grader in Mrs. Morgan’s class at Sunnyslope Elementary. She has one brother, Flynn (age 9).
Ella enjoys piano lessons, being involved in Stage Kids, choir, HiCap, and going to church at Sage Hills. She loves writing, singing, dancing, acting, reading, doing crafts, and drawing! Her favorite TV show is Friends, and her favorite song is “Lavender Haze” by Taylor Swift. Her favorite movie is The Greatest Showman and her favorite books are The Selection series by Kiera Cass. When Ella grows up, she wants to be a Writer, Singer and Actress.
Ella’s favorite things to do in the Wenatchee Valley are participating in Stage Kids, riding her bike on the Loop Trail, and going to the Farmer's Market!
