ROYALTY CANDIDATE INFORMATION

Who is eligible?

• All senior girls currently attending school in the Wenatchee or Eastmont School Districts.  This includes all private (Cascade Christian, River Academy, Valley Academy), home schools, and Westside High School.
• Must have a 2.75 cumulative GPA - based on your June 2009 report card
• Must have attended school in the above districts for the Sophomore and Junior Year

Mandatory Meetings
There will be 3 options to attend the Mandatory Meetings - Noon, 4pm, and 6pm on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 ONLY.  Meetings will be held at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center.

• Each interested Candidate MUST attend one of these meetings and a parent/guardian for each Candidate MUST attend one of these meetings (although they may attend separately).
• We offer 3 different times to accommodate lunch, work, and evening schedules.
• Parents and Candidates will sign in at each meeting and receive the 2010 Royalty Manual.

Other Important Dates to Remember

• December 7, 2009 by NOON - all required forms to run for Royalty must be turned in to the Festival Office, or the Royalty Advisers at each school.
• Tuesday, December 15th, 2009 Preliminary Speeches if necessary
• Thursday, December 17th, 2009 @ 3:30pm - Candidates Picture @ Parsons
• Tuesday, January 12th, 2010 Arrive at 5pm for Candidate's Reception/Reception begins at 7pm @ Performing Arts Center
• Wednesday, January 13th, 2010 in the morning - Top 10 Assemblies at WHS (8:25am) and EHS (10:00am); Announcement of Top 10 @ 6pm at Performing Arts Center
• Saturday, February 13th, 2010 Washington Trust Bank Royalty Selection Pageant @ 7pm, WHS Auditorium
