Princess Danielle Meadows, Queen Aria Tornabene, Princes Evyn Kuske
Queen Aria Tornabene

Queen Aria Tornabene is the daughter of Joe and Debbie Tornabene; she is a 5th grader at St. Joseph’s Elementary School and has two brothers. Aria enjoys participating in church activities, swim team, Hershey Track, Little League, playing the piano and spending time with her brothers. Aria’s favorite song is “In Wonder,” her favorite TV shows are professional baseball games and SpongeBob Squarepants, her favorite movie is Star Wars, A New Hope, and her favorite book is The Hobbit. Aria’s favorite activity to do in Wenatchee Valley besides Apple Blossom events is being with her family and friends and doing fun things like playing baseball in the yard or going skiing at Mission Ridge. Aria wants to be either a Firefighter, Doctor, Pilot or Baseball Player when she grows up.

Princess Danielle Meadows is the daughter of Mike and Kristi Meadows; she is 5th grader at Sterling Intermediate School and has one sister. Danielle enjoys playing the clarinet and learning to play the guitar. She likes to sing and got to sing at an Apple Sox game. She loves to be with her friends and family. Danielle’s favorite TV shows are Wipeout and American Idol, her favorite song is “Freckles,” her favorite movies are My Girl and My Girl 2 and her favorite book is The Last Song. Danielle’s favorite activity to do in Wenatchee Valley besides Apple Blossom events is visit the Town Toyota Center to ice skate and watch Wenatchee Wild games. Danielle wants to be an elementary School teacher when she grows up.
Princess Evyn Kuske
Princess Evyn Kuske is the daughter of Peter and Alison Kuske; she is a 5th grader at Sterling Intermediate School and has two brothers and one sister. Evyn enjoys playing soccer, basketball and the flute. She is involved with ASB at her school. In her free time she likes to bake, read and play with her siblings. Evyn’s favorite TV show is 8 Simple Rules, her favorite movie is The Blind Side, her favorite song is “Hey Soul Sister” and her favorite book is Life as We Knew It. Evyn’s favorite activity to do in the Wenatchee Valley besides Apple Blossom events is to go swimming, biking with her family and friends as well as sports at local schools. Evyn wants to be a Pediatric Surgeon when she grows up.
82 essays from Fifth Grade girls in the Wenatchee and Eastmont School Districts were received on the topic, "If you could step back in time and visit any decade in History, which decade would you visit and why." A panel of educators within those districts narrowed the essays down to a group of 13 finalists. Those finalists then attended a 40-minute writing session and wrote on the topic, "If you could invite anyone from a TV show, movie, or a character from a book to Wenatchee, who would you invite and where would you take them?". The same panel of educators narrowed the essays down to the final three. The remaining 10 finalists were:

Some of the activities the Junior Royalty will take part in include an etiquette session at Red Robin, attending a luncheon with the Downtown Rotary, touring Rocky Reach Dam and the Wenatchee Valley Museum with the “Senior” Royalty; riding in the Keyes Fibre Corporation Youth Parade on April 24; helping hand out Art 4 Kidz awards (sponsored by Costco & Bank of America) at the Pepsi-Cola Youth Day on April 25, and carrying the lead banner in the Stemilt Growers Grand Parade on May 1.
